HOUSE IN PENTELI

This apartment is in the 1st floor of a semi-detached house in a hilly district of Athens.

The owner asked for maximization of free space and flexibility.

Working within the constraints, the corridor was treated as an extension of the living space, dissolving the boundaries between the rooms and becoming more viable and functional.

A system of sliding doors along the corridor conceals and reveals wardrobes, storage units and bookshelves ending at the discretionary and flexible distinction of the kitchen.
